Where are you located? What area do you service?
I am located in Morristown, TN and service the whole East Tennessee area. I am also willing to travel out of the state or country with an additional fee.
How do I book a session?
For regular sessions you can click the "Book Now" button at the top of the page and pick a date that works for you. For all weddings and other events, please fill out an inquiry form on the "Contact Me" page and I will get in touch with you to book.
What is required to book a session?
To book a session you must pick an available date, read over and sign a contract, and pay a non-refundable retainer (amount depends on session type). No dates will be reserved until the contract has been signed and retainer has been paid.
What should I expect after submitting an inquiry?
My office hours are 8:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Some days are busier than others so I may not respond immediately; please allow 24 hours for a response on weekdays. Inquiries submitted on weekends will not be responded to until Monday.
Where do sessions take place?
For all sessions (excluding mini sessions) you pick the location! Sessions can be done anywhere outdoors or in the comfort of your own home. Have no idea where you might want to do the session? No worries, I will be more than happy to give you ideas or pick the location for you if you prefer.
What should I wear for my session? Do you provide any outfits?
I have a small client closet that I am working on growing. What you wear should depend on the location chosen, but as a general rule of thumb, your outfit should stand out from your background (ex. if you choose a location in a large, grassy field you should wear deep or bright colors as opposed to all green). Neutrals are always a great choice, as well. Clothing with movement helps to bring the photos to life! I will be happy to create an inspiration board with color palette and outfit suggestions for you if that is something you would like!
What "style" of photography can I expect to get with you?
Authentic photos that don’t feel staged and stuffy are my specialty. While I do include posed photos in every session, capturing your genuine moments in a way that tells a beautiful story of who you are is my main focus.
When can i expect to receive my photos?
You will receive one or two photos as a sneak peek within 24-48 hours. Your whole gallery will be delivered via email within 21 days for regular sessions, 30 days for small events, and 60 days for large events.
How many photos will i receive? Do I get to choose my photos?
You will receive 15 photos for half-sessions and 30 photos for full sessions. You will receive a gallery with 50-100 photos to choose your favorites from. You will also have the option to purchase additional images after viewing the gallery.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive your photos in a digital gallery via email. From there you will be able to download them and/or order prints.
Do you offer printing services?
I do! If you are interested in having your photos professionally displayed in an album or on a canvas or need professionally printed "Save the Dates," Christmas cards, etc. Please let me know and we can discuss printing details and pricing.
Are there any additional fees other than those listed on your pricing page?
Generally, no. However, there are some situations where fees apply. Travel 30 miles beyond zip code 37814 for half sessions and 60 miles beyond zip code 37814 for full sessions will be $0.65 per additional mile. Large groups require more time and editing, therefore, there is also an additional $10 per person added to the session fee for any number of people over 6.
